Drawnalism Ink Newsletter: Spring 2022
The rollercoaster
Welcome to the Spring 2022 issue of Drawnalism Ink. In this issue we look back at some of our recent work and take a peek at the world.
It is remarkable to think that we are two years into the COVID-19 Pandemic. What a journey it has been!
Thanks to the amazing work of the world’s medical experts and healthcare professionals, vaccines have been developed which fend off the worst effects of the virus, allowing us to tentatively look forward to what we sincerely hope will be the final year of the Global Pandemic.
We are lucky to have worked with many health and epidemiology professionals over the years, including: Oxfam, People’s Vaccine Alliance, The World Health Organization (WHO), London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, the Centre for Tropical Medicine and Global Health, and the Institute for Tropical Medicine.
Of course now we have a new challenge with the invasion of Ukraine by Russia. There are obvious, horrific, widespread and hard to predict effects for us all. We hope there will be a speedy and peaceful resolution to the unfolding crisis.

Red Thread EU
Much of our business comes through personal recommendations, and when people spot our work ‘in the wild’, as in this case study from Red Thread EU. It makes us so happy when people feel that we get it ‘just right’.
For all of Europe
During the COVID-19 pandemic, a workshop of the Directors-General of the European Statistical System had to be held in virtual form at very short notice. We prepared live capture for a series of events and a alively explanatory video.
