Farming the Big Apple

Agriculture. Not the first thing that comes to mind when you think of New York City, but Drawnalism was there recently for GODAN Summit 2016.
GODAN - Global Open Data for Agriculture and Nutrition - is a UK-based NGO that advocates the use of Open Data in agriculture, with the stated aim of ending world hunger and ensuring world food security.
This was the first major gathering for the organisation since being formed following the G8 Summit in 2012, and was timed to coincide with the UN General Assembly happening just down the road.
This was our first time making Drawnalism in New York, and (as the song goes), if we can make it there, we can make it anywhere...
