Another Year Over

We can’t pretend that the challenges aren’t many. To name just a few:

Putin’s illegal war is not over, and COVID-19 still hasn’t quite gone.

The Climate Crisis persists and worsens, despite COPs 26 and 27 (and all the other COPs which went before).

In some countries the old and the young are forced - whether by war, famine, or economic hardship - to flee their homes, only to be seen by many others as a ‘Migrant Crisis’.

In the UK (where Drawnalism UK is based), a recent government was outlasted by a lettuce.

There’s been a World Cup - hurrah! But the choice of host nation - Qatar - has resulted in many a scandal.

Twitter the bird site has been sold off for $44 billion. Goodness knows how many worthy causes could have benefited from such a huge sum if only it were to have been spent differently.
