A Chamber of Solutions and more silver linings
The coronavirus pandemic has brought a hard and horrific time for people, businesses and communities across the world.
There is huge need for practical assistance for people in business in such an uncertain and frightening time. It’s great to see the outpouring of help across societies - a very little of which of which we’ve reflected in our continuing search for Silver Linings.
In our country, business organisations are at the front of efforts to aid the economy and a good example of this are The Chamber of Solutions events run by The Hampshire Chamber of Commerce. These weekly online sessions are providing focused knowledge exchange and community building for businesses affected by the record collapse in sales and market demand.
The lockdown of society which was introduced in the UK on 23rd March to slow or prevent the spread of Covid-19 has done immense damage to demand for products and services and also to their supply chains.
We’ve been proud to support these weekly events a little with On the Air graphic recordings of the 90 minute online meetings.
The first subjects have included Funding for Business, Understanding the terms of government assistance in paying wages and Businesses in distress. The fourth in the series for April will be held on Tuesday 28th. Perhaps we will see some other of you UK businesses online there.
If Drawnalism On the Air can help you capture knowledge In the Moment and as and when it is needed for exchange, ask us here.
